The ultimate rock music team building event!

This is the true rock and roll team building music experience. If you’ve ever wanted to perform on a stage in a band then this is the one for you. In as little as three hours our facilitators will teach everyone to play the basic necessities on an instrument, coach them to work as a team to create a song, and then help them get up on stage and perform to their colleagues.

No experience is necessary and anyone can do it, no matter how unbelievable it sounds. The magic is watching people’s faces of fear and trepidation at the beginning, helping them find solutions as a group, and then seeing that moment when they realise that they can actually do this. And when they get up on that stage to perform their song which is always followed by rapturous applause, the adrenalin, smiling, and buzz of that group of people is something that has a long lasting, powerful effect. This truly is a team building event.

There is a role here for everyone so no-one needs to feel left out. Even the introverts can play a part whether it’s shaker at the back of the stage or supplying backing vocals to the main singer. In fact we are often told that the quietest guy in the office was the surprise star of the show once they’ve seen him in a different light so it’s always a joy to watch colleagues discover new strengths in each other.

A team building event like no other

This team building activity has everything….

Competition, collaboration, community spirit and a sense of real achievement.

Here we split the group into small teams and task them with building a real, working guitar.

They are provided with all the materials, tools and instructions so they need to collaborate and work together to get the job done first.

By the end they will have created playable guitars.

The first team to build the guitar to the required standard wins!

What happens to the guitars?

This is where it gets even better. You have a couple of options. The winning team can keep the guitars. Maybe they will go back to the office so people can learn the guitar as a new stress relieving hobby, maybe they will go home and become a personal possession.

Or the other option is that all the guitars get donated to a local school or youth charity. The winning team could then select who the lucky recipient is. There is even scope to have company stickers placed on the guitars so the local group knows who gifted them.

Either way, the benefits of the session reach far beyond the actual experience.

This is a fun and interactive Caricature Workshop where you’ll learn the fundamental techniques of facial proportions, which will serve as a foundation for exaggeration, observation, and creative cartooning. It’s a great opportunity for both beginners and those with some drawing experience to have a good time and unleash their artistic flair! 

What does it include?
During the workshop, you’ll apply your new drawing skills to create a caricature of another participant or a celebrity. At the end of the session, everyone will get to guess who each person has drawn—it’s a fun way to show off your work!

How long is it?
The workshop lasts approximately 60 minutes. All materials, including pencils, pens, and even crayons, will be provided by the caricature artist, so you can focus on bringing your masterpiece to life. You’ll also get to take your artwork home at the end of the session!

What will you learn?
The workshop begins with a lesson on exaggeration techniques, where the caricature artist will guide you through how to draw facial features with a playful twist. You’ll practice drawing your host, and then use those skills to create your final piece.

Who can you draw?
You’ll have a variety of options for your caricature subject, including:

• A colleague

• A favourite celebrity
• An inspirational woman (great for International Women’s Day)
• An LGBTQ+ icon (perfect for Pride)
• An inspirational Black individual (ideal for Black History Month)

Our Thriller event is so exciting that even the undead become energized. Oh yes, here we take Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller dance routine and give your team the chance to be the stars of the show.

No dance experience is necessary and even those with two left feet will be surprised at how much fun they have.

Using professional choreographers, we teach you the classic moves from the famous Thriller routine before bringing it all together to learn it for a full performance.

We then provide the zombie make-over so you look the part. All that is left now is to get focused, get into character and give the performance of your lives.

If you want this as a shorter energiser session, then we can avoid the zombie make-up and get right down to it with the dance routine.

How often do you get to star in your own music video? Well that’s exactly what happens here. The professionally edited video is delivered back to you within a week and you can watch it and share it long into the future so this event has great longevity.

First we select a famous song with you.

We then come to you and bring the props, rock star outfits, film crew and facilitators. You get briefed and the work starts. Your team story board and work out exactly what will happen in each part of the video.

We then film your team acting out their amazing video. It is always unique and we have no idea what they will come up with. It’s usually hilarious and a surprise to everyone!

The video is then edited and delivered back to you to enjoy.

“Instantly achieved a rapport with the audience and had them all making music together in minutes.”

Our boomwhacker team building event is fast, furious and fun. Using pitched percussion tubes your group will be taught basic rhythm games before being split into sections of different musical pitches. Now they must work as a team using communication and listening skills to be able to play together and create a well known tune as one big percussive orchestra.

This rhythm team building event really helps people to work as one unit and to appreciate their role as part of the whole. There are no leaders in this event and everyone is equally valued. If they work together the end result will be a really rewarding piece of music that demonstrates that the sum of the whole is greater than the individual.

This event has proved very successful at large meetings and conferences where a short energiser is needed with minimal set up and pack down time, and maximum engagement in a short time frame. It leaves people refreshed and ready for the next part of the day. It also works well at the end of a heavy day to leave on a high energy positive note.

The Harmonica Team Building Experience brings the spirit of blues and boogie woogie music to your corporate event. We use fun, engaging facilitators who are expert harmonica performers to turn your team into harmonica blues experts in a short time frame.

Starting with fun ice breaker games, the group become engaged and captivated until they are taken through exciting exercises that teach them how to play the harmonica.

This is unique, fun and crazy which is why it works so brilliantly at getting teams to work together to create something special. They must learn to listen to each other, communicate effectively and work as a team to succeed. Check out our harmonica case study here.

In the Harmonica Blues Experience everyone gets their own harmonica which they have the option to keep as a memento. There’s also an option to take this further with Blues Brothers style outfits for all delegates.

It’s team building but not as we know it…

With a history dating back 600 years, this Morris dance team building ticks the box if you want an authentically English historical event. But in the team building world this is a fresh and unique option that will leave your team energised and smiling after a joyously hilarious experience.

Using old English folk traditions, our expert facilitators will take your group on an historical journey to teach them an authentic Morris dance. They will have to work together in small sub groups (sets) to learn the routine. They will be laughing and smiling throughout but they really will have to pull together to achieve the final performance. This is very much a team effort and creates the option for a competitive edge (when desired) where we can pick a winning group for the best team.

As well as your caller/facilitator, you will work to music performed by a professional folk musician for a truly authentic experience.

Time to make noises you didn’t think possible!

The Beat Box Mania team building event brings the energy of urban hip hop culture to your work place. Here our beat box expert facilitator introduces your delegates to the hip and happening art form of beat boxing whilst displaying the fundamental skills needed.

Once your group have been taught these skills and, amidst much laughter, it all culminates in a final performance.

This is hilarious and ridiculous but simultaneously brilliant at getting the teams to work together to create the finished performance. Out of the silliness is borne a determination to pull together and succeed and the only way to do it is support each other and get creative as a team.

This can run as a short ice breaker or energiser session, as well as a longer team building event.

If you want to pair it up with a dance event, the Beat Box Mania team building session goes hand in hand with our Street/Commercial Dance Event as they both draw upon the same area of pop culture.

We can run this anywhere, get going in seconds and leave the room in seconds. It needs zero equipment except for a microphone and it’s suitable for any groups size and any duration from 10 minutes up to an hour. This makes it perfect for those conference sessions when a fast entrance and exit is required.

The music recording studio team building experience is a next level event that will create a lifelong impression whilst teaching your delegates the power of team work. You can hold seminars and talk about how important teamwork is but nothing teaches the lesson better than actually doing it. And to spend the day in a real working music studio is a bucket list event for most people so this really creates the wow factor. This event sees delegates spend the day writing and recording their own song in a music studio. At the end they will have the recording as a memento which increases the longevity of this event’s impact.

In the music recording studio experience you will get a day in a recording studio with all the equipment, recording engineer and music facilitators to make sure the experience is smooth, fun and effective.

We have a network of suitable recording studios so we can run this event across the UK and Europe. This means we can cater for your location, group size and time frame.
