The Brief: We were contacted by a company in the South of England who had re-written the lyrics to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. They had done an amazing job to create industry specific lyrics that fitted the flow of the famous song perfectly.
They wanted to come to a music studio and get coached through the recording process to record their customised lyrics. They also wanted it filmed to produce a Band Aid style music video.
The Solution: We booked a great studio that would be perfect for the recording whilst also looking good on film. We built a team with a sound engineer to record the music, a videographer to film the session and an expert vocal coach to help the delegates achieve a great result.
This was ambitious but we knew it would be a really fun session!
Although some of the session was planned in advance, there are always the surprises and creative ideas on the day that make these events so special. The delegates were all fully onboard and ready to give it their best shot. And some hilarious inspiration came about giving a nod to both the history of Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as other Queen’isms (see if you can spot them below), but also industry specific references for the delegates.
