How we delivered a high impact conference energiser in Dubai for 200 global delegates

We were invited to deliver a conference energiser in Dubai for an international audience of 200 delegates. The group was made up of attendees from across Europe and Africa, bringing a mix of cultures, languages and backgrounds.
The client needed a short, high energy session that would break the ice, get people working together and create a memorable shared moment early in the conference.
We proposed a boomwhacker session, one of our most effective and portable conference energisers.
Travelling from London, we brought 200 boomwhackers with us, along with pre prepared visuals ready to go. Because of the simplicity of the setup, all we needed on site was basic audio support to get micced up before stepping straight onto the stage.
Within moments, the room transformed.
Delegates who had never met were working together in rhythm, creating music as one group. The simplicity of the format meant there were no barriers to entry, and the visual and physical nature of the activity made it instantly engaging.
Most importantly, music removed any language or cultural barriers. The shared experience created immediate connection and energy across the entire room.
The impact was immediate and lasting.
The session created a genuine talking point for the rest of the conference. Delegates were energised, more open and more connected, which carried through into the rest of the event.
The success of the session led to us being rebooked by the same client for another international conference on a different continent, a clear reflection of the value it delivered.
