Case Study: Charity Guitar Build Team Building That Set the Tone for the Year

Kicking off a new year is a powerful moment for any organisation. This South Wales based company wanted an early January team event that would energise their people, reinforce shared values and set a positive tone for the months ahead. With a team of 40 and a strong people-first culture, they were looking for something genuinely engaging, inclusive and memorable.

The brief was clear. Following a three course lunch, where the leadership team served food to the wider group as a visible message of support and unity, they needed a team building session lasting between two and three hours. It had to encourage alignment, collaboration and creativity while still being great fun.

After exploring a number of suitable options, the team chose our Charity Guitar Build experience. It offered everything they were looking for. Creativity, collaboration, clear roles, shared goals and a strong sense of achievement, all wrapped up in a unique and exciting experience.

The group was split into four sub teams, each with a range of tasks that required different skills and strengths. One group focused on building real, fully working electric guitars. This involved practical problem solving, teamwork and attention to detail, with each member playing a vital role in the build process.
