The essence of the event is that the teams design a section of the video and really make it their own. They can base their ideas on the lyrics of the song or a recent work project or anything else that fits. They think about acting, props, wardrobe and choreography. Sometimes they even record their own vocal parts.

They then rehearse it up and get ready for the shooting.

What is this talk of line dancing at a conference?

You might be familiar with our popular Thriller dance event that works as a very effective conference energiser, ice breaker or team building session. But although that is one of our most popular line dancing, country, conference, ice breaker, energiser, team building events, getting down like a zombie isn’t appropriate for every occasion.

But fear not, there is more than one way to dance. And that’s why we offer our popular dance event in different genres so we can cater for your crowd.

We use the same winning format that we have used for thousands of people in the Thriller event but we tailor it to different styles. This allows us to break the ice, getting everyone engaged and on-board for some fun outside of their comfort zone. We then start learning the steps and rehearsing them up towards the big performance finale.

Thriller Dance Event

This might seem like an odd choice but this is really popular as a Christmas event. Of course this is also very popular around October and November with the obvious Halloween connection. But we find that people wanting something different for their Christmas team building or party also love to learn this famous dance, get a zombie makeover and just generally let lose having fun learning some iconic Michael Jackson moves.

Christmas Party Entertainment

As well as the Christmas team building and energiser events we create some very special Christmas parties each year with our live band the Right Hook. It’s called the rock and roll game show and it bridges the gap perfectly between dinner and evening entertainment. Conference Energiser to Get Your Delegates in Harmony

Our Rock Choir conference energiser is one of our most popular events for good reason. Quite simply – it works really well. We use this event for small groups right through to huge conferences. It works well as a two hour team building session with smaller groups and works equally well from as little as 30 minutes as a conference energiser.

The main reason it works is that we use the uplifting magic of singing to get the group working together to achieve a high energy, endorphin releasing outcome.

What if my non-singers don’t like it?

Every client asks this question because they all, understandably, have the same fear. But we have highly skilled vocal facilitators that warm the delegates up gradually starting with some fun (and quite silly) vocal warm ups before moving on to learning the song content. It is all carefully constructed so that even the least musical person in the group can follow, engage and share the successful result. It’s about having fun, being a supportive group and reaching the desired outcome of creating something special.

These are non-singers and the session started with many apprehensive faces staring back at us. If you are looking to plan a team building event for your company, you want to ensure that you book something that is fun and engaging but also fulfils its purpose and has a positive effect on everyone involved. Here are a few simple steps for you to think about before you begin your research with our team building checklist.

1. Identify company needs

The first question you should ask yourself is, “What needs to be improved in the corporation and what do you want from the team building activity?” If you can establish this in the first instance then you can target your search for activities on the most effective options to achieve the desired result. You need to ensure you are aware of the aims and outcomes of the chosen team building event before you start researching the different types of events.

2. Budget

Most team building companies are flexible with their pricing and can change the event to help accommodate you. So it does help to be forth coming with the amount you are willing to spend so that they can help you find an activity that fits in with your costings. Most team building companies have a variety of different activities and events with various pricing levels so there is something for everyone.

3. Venue

Perhaps you have a favourite luxurious hotel in London or, depending on the event you choose, you may wish to have the activity take place at your premises.
