Our Boomwhacker Conference Energiser is one of our favourite events. Nothing works better to get your team working together to achieve the impossible.

This works perfectly as:

We are usually kept as a total surprise to the delegates so we take to the stage, announce what we are doing and watch the delegate’s faces drop into disbelief and cynicism.

“Surely we can’t create a boomwhacker orchestra in such a short space of time!”

Oh yes they can! And they will.

We then take them on a journey of discovery as we take them through a hilarious set of steps that train them in the skills they need. Even those with no musical experience and a severe lack of rhythm will succeed here.

It’s all delivered with fun and the energy builds, along with their realisation that they can really do this.

It all culminates in the final performance where everything comes together.

As well as being a lot of fun, the boomwhacker team building session promotes several key aspects:

Although there are some great messages inherent in this energiser, it is all delivered amidst jokes, smiles and laughter which helps to create a jubilant energy within the audience and a great talking point. The audience is left engaged, energised and ready for whatever is coming next.

What are boomwhackers?

Boomwhackers are pitched plastic percussion tubes. They are light, easy to transport and very easy to play. It means we can teach interesting rhythms very quickly. The tubes are different colours and each colour plays a different note so we can create melodies very quickly as well. One example is that we can get a room full of delegates playing a piece of music by Beethoven within 30 minutes. This has huge impact to show them what can be achieved when they work together.

How long does the boomwhacker team building last?

This can work as a very short energiser of 20/30 minutes up to a longer 90 minute team building session.

How many delegates can take part?

The boomwhacker team building works for smaller groups of 15 people, right up to large conferences with hundreds of people.

How long does it take to set up?

The boomwhacker conference energiser takes no time at all. In fact we often have to go on stage at a conference in-between other speakers. We can jump on stage and get the delegates engaged immediately. Once they are warmed up, the boomwhackers are handed out amongst the audience within seconds.

How long does it take to pack up?

We can leave the room as quickly as we entered. The boomwhackers are back in their bags within seconds and we disappear without fuss so you can use the energy of the room and move immediately to your next feature.

The Beat Box Mania beat box team building event brings the energy of urban hip hop culture to your work place. Here our beat box expert facilitator introduces your delegates to the hip and happening art form of beat boxing whilst displaying the fundamental skills needed.

Once your group have been taught these skills and, amidst much laughter, got to grips with performing them they are tasked with creating their own rap over the top of their rhythms.

What is this talk of line dancing at a conference?

You might be familiar with our popular Thriller dance event that works as a very effective conference energiser, ice breaker or team building session. But although that is one of our most popular line dancing, country, conference, ice breaker, energiser, team building events, getting down like a zombie isn’t appropriate for every occasion.

But fear not, there is more than one way to dance. And that’s why we offer our popular dance event in different genres so we can cater for your crowd.

We use the same winning format that we have used for thousands of people in the Thriller event but we tailor it to different styles. This allows us to break the ice, getting everyone engaged and on-board for some fun outside of their comfort zone. We then start learning the steps and rehearsing them up towards the big performance finale.

Using pitched percussion tubes, the boomwhacker experience shows the power of working together as we move through a fun rhythmic session which ends up as an orchestra performing a piece by Mozart.
