Corporate live band – new website

As we offer some great and very popular evening entertainment options for corporate events, product launches, parties and all other celebrations, we thought they deserved a website all to themselves.

The website is named after our flagship live band The Right Hook. Here you will find detailed information on the band who have worked across the UK, Europe and the Middle East performing at every type of event from weddings to office parties to corporate product launches and many other occasions.

live band, party band, wedding band, corporate band, live music As well as the main band we also have scaled down versions which are great for occasions when music is desired to create a great impact but space or budget restrictions don’t allow for the full band. Here we can provide our acoustic duo who have a huge repertoire and perform to a very high standard every time, and yet only need a small space in which to perform. They supply a state of the art PA and lighting system so they are all you need for a full night’s entertainment.

We also have the jazz band which supply laid back, swinging music that works very well at a drinks reception to create ambiance and a great atmosphere. They are the perfect addition to the Right Hook evening band because the musicians are already at the venue with their equipment so there are no extra travel or set up expenses.

We also have detailed information for the Rock & Roll game Show. It’s a totally unique, raucous and memorable event. Take a music trivia pub quiz, add a live band, audience participation, kazoo solos, and recreating of music videos and you are half way to getting a feel for the event. Live Band Discount Before PA Awards Performance

corporate entertainment, wedding band, party band Our leading live band The Right Hook will be performing at the London PA Awards at the Hippodrome Casino in London this summer. It looks set to be a great event in which the best performing PAs of the last year will be recognised for their efforts. The awards have been developed in association with The Hippodrome Casino, London Chamber of Commerce, London Launch, Square Mile and recruitment agency Tate, with the aim of recognising the achievements of successful PAs and EAs within London. 145 people were nominated last year and 10,000 people voted for the 35 individuals shortlisted. 2015 sees even more awards and more recognition.

And with such a great event, nothing short of top notch entertainment will be required to end the event on a high. And we have been chosen to supply the entertainment for the evening. It’s a great honour that we have been recognised as the perfect live band to provide live music entertainment for corporate events throughout the last year and we are delighted that we have been invited to this prestigious event as well. So we are all set to make sure the dance floor is full all night.

The Right Hook provide all the classic dance floor fillers from the last six decades up to the latest pop and rock hits. It’s all delivered by professional musicians that have worked on TV and live stages around the world with some of the biggest names. Fronted by our top singer, Chris, who is regularly flown across the world as a featured entertainer, he not only has an amazing voice, but also has the moves and charisma to keep the crowd enthralled.

The band perform at any event in which great live music is required. This includes corporate events, conferences, weddings, parties and of course Christmas celebrations. They are completely self sufficient with high spec PA system, lighting. lasers, smoke machine and DJ music packages for between the live music.

We have a series of new videos that demonstrate the various corporate entertainment and team building events that we do. Below you can see the promotional video for our live band that entertain hundreds of people each year at corporate events, conferences, office parties and any other event when great music is needed. You can also see the end result of our flagship Rock & Roll Experience where delegates are taught to play in a band before performing on stage. As well as this we have a video that shows our Rock & Roll Choir event. Here non-singers are coached to work in perfect harmony before learning a well known rock track.

Our live band ‘The Right Hook’ never fail to get everybody in the room up dancing and having an amazing time. Their repertoire is vast and you will often see their frontman grabbing his mic and heading out into the audience to make sure everyone is having a good time. All the musicians are professional performers and their chemistry as a group is what leads clients to rebook them time and time again.

The Rock and Roll Choir event is a very effective and fun team building event along the lines of Gareth Malone’s TV shows that see work groups forming choirs. But here we add a large dollop of rock and roll so that songs are chosen from bands such as Queen, Kings of Leon, the Beach Boys, and more. No matter how tone deaf people think they are, our facilitators always get them working together to create the seemingly impossible. And the positive effect this has on a team is tangible.

Create a Successful Team

The secrets of a winning team

A recent survey conducted by communications software company Unify, looked into teams that are not based in a single location and the ingredients that made the difference between unsuccessful and successful teams. The outcome was that being grouped in the same location, or spread geographically in several locations actually has no direct impact on the success of that team.

What did have an impact was how those team members communicated with one another. The pertinent finding was the way in which those team members engaged with each other, the frequency of that engagement, and openness that they displayed when communicating. Simply put, the successful teams were the ones that engaged often, spoke their minds, contributed freely, spoke on a personal level, and contributed equally to the mission.

This is one of our most popular music based corporate team building events. Here clients are given the chance to design, plan and perform in their own music video. In the standard package they will learn to play their instruments, write a song, and perform it on stage like a real rock band!

But as an alternative, the music video session doesn’t involve actual playing of musical instruments. Instead delegates simply mime and perform to camera.

This takes the excitement to a whole new level as they design, plan, and turn the video into a reality.
