Unqiue Team Building Ideas
The reason that the Rock and Roll Experience was born, was to create rock band team building events so that teams could experience being a rock star for a day. Since then we have expanded to include so many more team building, ice breakers, conference energisers and live corporate music events but we still love providing our original rock band team building experience.
Below you can see a video of exactly how it works. The brief was to bring a team out to Spain, bring all the necessary musical equipment and teach 75 delegates how to play instruments and perform in a battle of the bands.
Step 1
We taught the group how to play instruments. They had zero experience and we had just over an hour to get them ready. The singers were tasked with rewriting lyrics to a famous song.
Step 2
We then turned the rooms around and the delegates got together in their bands. Here they started rehearsing their song by learning how to play in a band. This is one of the best team building activities out there. Without collaboration and team work there is zero chance of getting this to work. The teams have to support each other and work together to perform successfully as a group and have the confidence to get on stage.
Step 3
Next it’s time for the battle of the bands. This allows the delegates to face their fears and perform to the audience. The power of doing that together is such a unifying and bonding experience. Once they walk off that stage they will have formed a closer bond and shared something special with each other.
Finally
In the video below you will see that our facilitators also became the band for the after show party. Our whole team is made of professional musicians so if you need entertainment for the party at your conference then why not use us to keep that dance floor full!
