Rock & Roll Experience offer a range of different corporate team building music events to fit every team building need. Team building checklist tips to help you plan a team building event

If you are looking to plan a team building event for your company, you want to ensure that you book something that is fun and engaging but also fulfils its purpose and has a positive effect on everyone involved. Here are a few simple steps for you to think about before you begin your research with our team building checklist.

1. Identify company needs

The first question you should ask yourself is, “What needs to be improved in the corporation and what do you want from the team building activity?” If you can establish this in the first instance then you can target your search for activities on the most effective options to achieve the desired result. You need to ensure you are aware of the aims and outcomes of the chosen team building event before you start researching the different types of events.

2. Budget

Most team building companies are flexible with their pricing and can change the event to help accommodate you. So it does help to be forth coming with the amount you are willing to spend so that they can help you find an activity that fits in with your costings. Most team building companies have a variety of different activities and events with various pricing levels so there is something for everyone.

3. Venue

Perhaps you have a favourite luxurious hotel in London or, depending on the event you choose, you may wish to have the activity take place at your premises. 4. Agenda

Its always good when planning something for your staff to write up an agenda and programme for the day. It will help prevent you from forgetting anything but also these types of events do tend to run over so its good to have a timescale of what you would like to happen and when you would like your team building to start and finish. We are all familiar with self esteem; our own opinion and perception of ourselves, but many of us pass each working day without considering our team esteem at work.

A successful team will have a good team esteem. Each individual team member will share a general positive feeling about the team and perceive it to be doing things well. A team with low team esteem will be much less effective, will experience more internal conflict, and stress levels will be higher.

Of course conflict will occur in any team but a successful team recognises conflict as a good thing.
